Alan Hamill, 61, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at his residence in Wylie.  Alan was born in Fort Campbell, Kentucky on Thursday, June 20, 1957 to parents Kenneth and Yosuko Hamill.  Alan graduated from James O'Neill High School in Highland Falls, New York. After graduation  Alan received an appointment to West Point and he graduated from there in 1980.  Alan worked for many years as an engineer.

Surviving Alan is his son, David Hamill, father, Kenneth Hamill and brothers, Neil Hamill and wife, Helga; Paul Hamill and wife Kristin; nephew, Patrick Hamill and nieces; Elizabeth Hamill and Michelle Hamill.  Alan was preceded in death by his mother, Yosuko Hamill.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019, 11:00 A.M. at the Allen Funeral Home Chapel.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers contrubutions be made to the West Point Athletic Department in Alan's name.
