Albert Allen, 64, of Wylie passed away at his residence on October 3, 2020 with his family at his bedside. Albert was born on November 27, 1955 in Connersville, Indiana.  Albert moved to Wylie where he met and married Judy Lynn Frederick on May 21, 1976 at the Assembly of God Church in Wylie.  Albert served the City of Wylie in numerous ways.  He had been a volunteer for the Wylie Fire Department, then as an ambulance driver and attendant and as a 911 Dispatcher at the Wylie Police Department for 17 years.

Surviving Albert is his wife of 44 years, Judy Allen of Wylie; sons, Jeremy Allen and wife Sam of Denison , Anthony Allen and wife Debbie of Wylie and Aaron Allen of Wylie; sister, Penny Campbell and husband Dwayne  of Sheridan, Indiana and his 5 grandchildren, Ethan, Zane, Jax, Aiden and Oliver and another grandchild on the way.  Albert was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth (Allen) Nickell and grandparents, Fred and Dorothy Allen.

A visitation will be held at the Allen Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 PM.  His funeral service will be on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at the Allen Funeral Home Chapel.  Pastor Diana Lanier will officiate.  Interment will follow at the Millwood Cemetery in Lavon.
