Alice Marie Thigpen, 94, passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2019 in McKinney, Texas with family by her side.  Alice was born on Monday, December 8, 1924 in Josephine, Texas to her late parents, Thomas and Ruby Pearl (Currin) Hamiter.  Alice had worked for Southwestern Bell where she was a supervisor with the company.  Alice married Beryl Allen Thigpen.  Beryl passed away in March 1988.  Alice was of the Southern Baptist Faith.

Alice will be returned to Westminster, California and be laid to rest next to her husband, Beryl, in the Westminster Memorial Park on Monday, February 11, 2019.

Surviving Alice is her daughter, Linda Marie Christenson of McKinney, sons Tony Thigpen of Laguna Beach, California and Fred Thigpen of Spartanburg, South Carolina.  She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren.

Alice's visitation will be held at Allen Funeral Home, Friday, February 8, 2019 from 2:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M.
