Aline Jones went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Monday December 2nd, 2024. Aline was a loving mother who is survived by three sons and their wives, Russell and Sandra Jones of Wylie, Texas, Daniel and Donna Jones of Prosper, Texas and Keith and Marjie Jones of Farmersville, Texas. Aline spoiled and bragged on eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Aline leaves behind two sisters and two brothers; Jesse Odell, Edna Terrell, Albert Jones, Kenneth Jones and numerous other friends and relatives. Aline was a devoted wife of 43 years to Herbert Jones who preceded her in death and who she remained faithful to until the day she died. She proudly would tell of disappointed admirers but would say that she just couldn't imagine it. Aline was also preceded in death by her father and mother Dutch and Flora Jones, her precious granddaughter Morgan Jones and several brothers and sisters.

Aline was always a woman of faith and attended Merit Baptist Church. She served as treasurer, provided food and helped with vacation bible school just to name a few. Aline was very involved and even when she no longer could leave the house supported their ministries.

Aline believed in hard work and had several jobs in which she reached management levels quickly. She did not have patience with laziness. This work ethic led to her and Herbert to successfully running H and A Trucking and she continued to run it until the end. Aline treated her employees like family and remained close to them.

But Aline's number one job was Mom and Grandma, As a young mother she was firm and loving, sacrificing everything for her three sons. Attending ballgames, cooking dinner after a long day at work, doing laundry, fixing faucets and making beds. Aline was a firm believer that an unmade bed was a shameful thing. That was a regular day for Aline Jones. She never complained and she said, " That's just what you do." As her sons grew, married and moved out of the house, Aline bathed us all in prayer daily. She stood by us in good times and bad. She never failed to let us know if we were off the path that was right but encouraged us at the same time. Aline never missed birthdays, anniversaries or holidays. She loved fiercely and never minced words when she told you how much she loved you. She was a lot of lady in a little package. Aline left us with a final message, " People die but the love doesn't." We will love and miss her forever.
