Alton Royce Moon, passed away peacefully with family at his daughter's residence in Wylie on Thursday September 29, 2022. Alton was born on June 4, 1938 in Lone Oak, Texas.  His parents are the late Oliver Woodson Moon and Addie Lavonia Ray Moon.  Alton served our country in the Army and retired from Raytheon Technologies where he had worked for over 30 years. He was loved and respected by his family and friends.

Alton is survived by his children Alan Royce Moon of Valley View and Delana Ameen of Wylie, Texas; sister, Joyce Knox of Plano; 4 grandchildren (Ashley, Sarah, Haden, Shea) and 1 great grandchild (Austin).

In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to the American Cancer Society.

Graveside services will be held at the Prairie Valley Cemetery in Lone Oak, Texas.  The services are Friday October 7, 2022 at 11:00 A.M.
