Angela Ruth Eaton

November 25, 1968 – January 16, 2022

Angela, 53, passed away on Sunday morning, 1/16/22. Her first day in heaven was her favorite day on earth, Sunday. We can only imagine how much she enjoyed the worship from all over the world that day.

Angela was born to her parents, J. Colen and Carol Lassiter, in Fairhope, Alabama, on November 25, 1968. When her father moved to pastor a church in St. Louis, there Angela met and then married the love of her life, Pastor/Chaplain John Eaton, in 1993. Together, they brought four beautiful and meaningful children into the world and welcomed a son-in-law into the family last year: John Michael (27), Laura Ashley and husband Jacob (24), James-David (20), and Emma-Grace (17).

Angela was a faithful wife, devoted to God's call on her life with John. When they sensed a call to start a church in Texas, they moved here by faith and have seen so many lives touched through the years and have a most loving church family. Besides helping individuals grow in Christ, Angela loved teaching children in the church and helped the worship team prepare for services. She was also highly involved in Frisco H.I.S. (Home is School). She started the Frisco H.I.S drama club and for 13 years it has been one of the most successful homeschool clubs for many students to grow and build character.

Angela also homeschooled all four of her children. All of them are highly accomplished in their lives in things like scholastics, writing, piano, singing and acting; her children are blessed to have been guided by her all these years. In the homeschool community she is known as a mentor to moms, willing to share her journey to encourage and help others. She is described as bold, beautiful, fun, a great leader, terrific wife, and mother. And, she was an avid Alabama football fan. John always said she was a different person for 4 hours on Saturdays in the Fall.

A close friend said this about her, "There was never a mom prouder or more loving of her children than her. She beamed when they played the piano or performed in a play. She taught them to include others and be kind. She was thrilled to be expecting her first grandbaby, which she had long talked about. She loved being a pastor's wife. We would sit in her kitchen and chat about my teenagers and my little one. Her advice was always priceless: 'Be patient, God has a plan for them.' She was a dynamic woman of God who loved pouring everything she had into others. She loved Jesus and now she is with Him." Another friend said, "Our homeschool community is shaken by this loss. She was a rock in our circle."

Her church family, Relate Church (Crossroads, TX), will deeply miss her beautiful smile, words of love and wisdom, and how she made every event she helped with amazing.

Angela will forever and severely be missed by her surviving husband, children, parents, in-laws and siblings and her community. For John, he always called her Beautiful; and she forever will be Unforgettable (their song).

She is survived by her husband, children, parents, and siblings.
