Barbara Cooper, 82, of Frisco went home to her Lord on Monday March 27, 2023 in Plano, Texas after a lengthy illness.  Barbara was born in Wylie on April 13, 1940 to her deceased parents, William E. and Lucille (Fields) Stubbens. Barbara grew up here and graduated from Wylie High School. She married Jerry Cooper on June 30, 1984 at the First Baptist Church of Wylie. Barbara was a homemaker, wife and mother. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.  After Jerry and her health began to fail they moved to Frisco to be closer to the children.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 39 years, Jerry Cooper; children, Bill Winfrey of Frisco, Tami Dale and husband Hugh of Prosper, step daughter Dana Bert and husband Sam of North Richland Hills and step son, Clay Cooper and wife Tina of Branson, Missouri; 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Proceeding Barbara in death are Bill and Lucille Stibbens.

Barbara's funeral is Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Allen Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. A. L. Draper officiating.  After service she will be laid to rest in the Wylie Cemetery.
