Barbara Jean Engledow
January 9, 1941 - January 26, 2022

Barbara Jean Engledow age 81, passed away on January 26, 2022 at Founders Plaza Nursing Hone in Wylie.  Barbara was born to Lonzy W. Shewbirt and Gracie A. Shewbirt on January 9, 1941 in Wylie, Texas.

Barbara is survived by her daughter Delane Wester, Two granddaughters Lee Ann Wester and Sheila Wester. Three Great-grandchildren LeLand Wester, Katlynn Gneist and Madlynn Colley, and her brother Whistle Flanagan.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Lonzy & Gracie Shewbirt. Three children Alan L. Engledow, Tawyna A. Engledow, and Earl Glen Engledow. Four sisters Pearl Doherty, Dorothy Snow , Hazel Gay & Mattie Flanagan also three brothers Kenneth Shewbirt, Clint Flanagan & J.L. Flanagan.

Funeral services are Monday, January 31, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at the Allen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug Henry officiating.  Musical selections will be provided by Cindy Henry.  Barbara will be laid to rest in the Nevada Cemetery.
