Barbara Szatkowski, age 76, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2024 in Wylie, Texas.

Barbara was born on March 11, 1948 in London, England. She was a loving and kind wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was always there when we needed her, offering support, wisdom, a warm hug and an abundance of love. She was happiest spending time with her family. She adored her granddaughters and loved having them sleepover at Babcia's.

Barbara is survived by her husband George, sons Mark (Misty) Szatkowski, Adam (Jackelyn) Szatkowski and Michael Szatkowski and her brother Michael (LeAnne) Lyczany. She is also survived by her 4 beloved granddaughters Madeleine, Olivia, McKinlea and Charlotte.

She is preceded in death by her mother Maria and father Joseph Szatkowski.

I thought of you today,

but that is nothing new.

I thought about you yesterday

and days before that too.

I think of you in silence,

I often speak your name.

All I have are memories

and your picture in a frame.

Your memory is a keepsake

from which I'll never part.
