Betty Merle Hickman, 80, of Wylie, Texas passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019 in Sachse, Texas.  Betty was born on Tuesday, August 2, 1938 in Irving, Texas to her late parents, John L. and Ethel Bell (Ray) King.  She had worked for Decker Foods were she was an assembly line supervisor.  Betty was married to John Rassie Hickman. John preceded her in death.

Surviving Betty are her children, Carla Buckley and husband, Larry of Priinceton, Gary Hickman of Van, Texas and John Hickman and wife, Angie of Sachse, Texas, brother, Bobby King of Wylie, 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

A visitation is scheduled for Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at Allen Funeral Home. Memorial service will be Saturday January 12th, 2019 at 2:00PM  at Allen Funeral Home Chapel.
