Betty Ladine Sherman. 89, of Wylie went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 2, 2021. Betty was born on Saturday, April 11, 1931 to her late parents James Albert Foster and Eula Mae Ross Foster in the small community of Liberty Grove. Betty was raised on the farm along with her 4 brothers and 3 sisters.  Betty had worked along side her sister Mary Murry  manufacturing specialized women's business attire, specifically the suits often seen in banks.  She had also worked for awhile at Varo Manufacturing in Garland. Betty was a lifetime member of the Cottonwood Church of Christ.

Betty is survived by her husband Otis Sherman of Wylie; son, Bill Burch of Liberty Grove; grandson, Bryan Burch; step daughter and her husband, James McGuire, Rene Sherman and many other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and friends.  Betty was preceded in death by her parents James and Eula Foster; first husband, William Burch; her son, Jackie Burch; daughter, Mary Ann Cardwell; her sisters, Joyce Foster, Mary Murry, and Nell Brawley; brothers, George Foster, Barney Foster, Luke Foster, Carl Foster and two infant brothers.

Visitation will be from 12:00 - 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Allen Funeral Home.  The funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. in the Allen Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Eric Hogue officiating.  Interment will follow at the Cottonwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Betty's name to either the Cottonwood Church of Christ or the Cottonwood Cemetery.
