Billie Ruth Mills was born on October 8th 1930 in Clear Lake, Texas, to Laura and Edgar Campbell. In 1949, she married the love of her life, Billy Ray Mills, and together they built a family that would become her greatest blessing. She was a devoted mother to David and Nancy, a loving grandmother to her five grandchildren, and a cherished great-grandmother to eight great-grandchildren. Billie’s love for her family knew no bounds. She expressed that love in the ways that mattered most—through a home-cooked meal, a familiar song, a treasured story, and a willingness to do anything for the grandchildren she adored. Her warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit created memories that will be carried in the hearts of her family for generations to come.

Above all, Billie loved the Lord and found her peace in Him. Her faith was a source of comfort and strength, and the love she shared with others reflected the goodness she found in her relationship with God. Though she will be deeply missed, her family can find comfort knowing that her earthly journey has ended and she is now at peace in the presence of her Savior. Billie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Billy Ray; her parents, Laura and Edgar Campbell; and her brother, Jerry Campbell. Her legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who were blessed to know her. As her family remembers her with love, they hold close the promise of eternal life and the hope of a joyful reunion in Heaven.
