Billy Bob Harris 85, of Wylie, Texas passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023 in Richardson, Texas.  He was born on September 25, 1937 in Winnsboro, Texas to the late John Paul and Cliffie Harris.  He served in the US army.  He married Lois A. Mervicker on May 6, 1961 in Richardson, Texas.

Billy is survived by his wife of 62 years Lois Harris of Wylie, Texas, children Glenn Harris and wife Patricia of Wylie, Texas, Billinda Pinson and husband Michael of Garland, Texas, brothers, Johnny Harris, Gary Harris, Kelly Harris, Mike Harris; 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents John and Cliffie Harris, brother Wayne Harris and sister Jo Jackson.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 4, 2023 from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. with a service following at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Allen Stroud officiating.  Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas.  Arrangements will be under the direction of Allen Funeral Home.
