Bobby Louis Skipwith, Sr. "Skip" age 83, was born on June 6, 1933, in Lavon, TX and passed away on December 1, 2016.

He is survived by his loving wife of almost 62 years, Wanda (Murray) Skipwith; Daughter, Cynthia Skipwith Hall and her husband Mike; Son, Bobby Louis Skipwith, Jr. and his wife Vicki; Grandchildren: Lindsay, Grant, Whitney, Haddie, Kelsey, and Logan; and Great Grandson Holland.

Skip was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He never met a stranger and was always ready with a joke or two. He enjoyed spending time and sharing stories with his many friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2016, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM in the mall at First Baptist Church - Wylie. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 8, 2016, at 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church - Wylie. Interment will follow at the Wylie Cemetery.
