Bonnie Sue Murray Gayler went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 9, 2023.  Bonnie was born in Burrow, Hunt County, Texas on August 25, 1940, to parents Albert Homer and Ruby Lee Stevens Murray.  She grew up in Royse City, TX, happily among the family of eleven until she married Lester Gayler, Jr.  Shortly after marriage, they moved to Wylie to start their family.

Mrs. Gayler was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

She loved socializing with friends from high school and her Sunday School Class.  An excellent cook, known the world over for her baked goods, she also fostered a love for travel and adventure in her family, creating unforgettable memories.  Above all else, she loved her family and cherished watching them grow.

Survived by her husband, Lester Gayler, Jr.; their children, Adam Gayler, Susie Gayler Herrington and her husband, Todd Herrington; grandchildren, Meagan Lewis and her husband, Preston Lewis, Tanner Smithson, Hannah Gayler, Sarah Gayler, Rylie Welty and her husband, Devin Welty, and Austyn Herrington; great-grandchildren, Camden Lewis and Kollyns Welty, and her sister; Wanda Skipwith and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends

Pallbearers are Mark Murray, Bob Skipwith, Mike Hall, Robert Allen Gayler , Stan Moss and Guy Moss. Honorary pallbears are Gary Moss, Johnny Gayler and Scott Morgan.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. in Wylie, TX at the Allen Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral services will begin at 11 A.M. with Brother A.L. Draper officiating.  Graveside service to follow at Wylie Cemetery.

Immediate family will attend a non-catered lunch at Creekside Grill at 2600 FM 544, Wylie, TX  75098.  Other loved ones are invited to join if they are able.
