Bradley M. Webb of Wylie, Texas died on the evening of Monday, November 24, 2025 at home, in the company of his wife, Elizabeth. Brad was born on September 19, 1962 in Springfield, Illinois to Barbara Toney, née Howard, and George Webb. He found his other half when he met Elizabeth Regnier in 1989 in Dallas, TX, and the couple married on July 14, 1990. A dozen years later, Brad and Elizabeth brightened their world as they welcomed their twin daughters, Bethany and Lydia, on January 1, 2002 (just barely missing the tax deduction as Brad would often joke).

Brad was known by many as a leader in life. Even from his youthful days growing up in Springfield, IL, it was easy to see the development of one of his life's mottos, "lead by example", and his leadership shone through in both his personal and professional life.

After leaving Illinois, Brad studied at UT-Dallas, where he earned a BS in Business Administration and a Master's in Management Information Systems. He was an encouraging, guiding hand for many people throughout his career in Project Management and Risk Management over the years at Nortel, Verizon, T-Mobile, and BT Americas before his retirement in 2022.

Beyond seeking professional excellence, Brad held a lifelong passion for pursuing personal excellence through studying, training, and competing in traditional Japanese Shotokan Karate. Brad began his karate journey in 1981 in Springfield, Illinois under Doug Dennis, and upon moving to Dallas in 1982, Brad worked with Alex Tong and Fred Turner to start a local traditional karate club – JKA-Dallas. JKA-Dallas was affiliated nationally with the American Amateur Karate Federation (AAKF), as well as internationally with the International Traditional Karate Federation (ITKF) under the chief instruction of master Hidetaka Nishiyama. Brad travelled throughout the country and the world as he dedicated himself to studying under Nishiyama Sensei, enabling him to train and compete across the globe and meet many friends along the way. Brad earned 4 gold medals and 26 silver and bronze medals across international tournaments and many more nationally throughout the course of his competition career. He later founded the USA Traditional Karate (USATK) group in affiliation with the ITKF. Brad eventually came to hold a Roku-Dan (6th Degree) Black Belt.

While a fierce competitor and a dedicated student to traditional karate, Brad was equally passionate about coaching, judging, and teaching, as he sought to pass on his knowledge and technique to his own students and cohorts. In 1990, Brad and his wife, Elizabeth, formed their commercial dojo Japan Shotokan Karate (JSK), which continues to this day and operates out of Campbell Green Recreation Center in North Dallas. Brad was always thankful for the people this sport brought into his life, and for the students who have trained and competed under his tutelage and mentorship. He hoped that his students would continue to pursue and carry the lessons of the art that he dedicated his life to even if he is no longer here to guide them.

Brad was a man of many passions, in addition to his love of karate. He enjoyed gaming nights with friends and travelling when possible, especially if it involved scuba diving and/or a vacation with his wife, Elizabeth and their friends or family to the Caribbean and Cozumel. Once his daughters were born, Brad gained countless new passions related to raising his kids, including telling dad jokes, learning to braid hair, and teaching his daughters to be brave, kind, and strong.

Brad is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Webb, his daughters, Bethany and Lydia Webb, and his mother, Barbara Toney. In times of struggle and challenges, he would often say, "patience is a virtue." Brad's memory will be cherished, and he will be deeply missed by his family and friends. A celebration of life will be held to honor Brad next spring, on March 21, 2026, in North Dallas.
