Brenda Charlene Wiley, born August, 16, 1949,  passed away after a brief illness on September 23, 2022.

Brenda has always lived in Texas.  She was born in Odessa and lived most of her life in Garland.  For the last few years, she has resided in Azle with her mother and brother and his family.

Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Chalmer (Bill) Wallace.

She has left behind: her Momma, Jessie Wallace, her son James Wiley, and his 3 sons.  She is also dearly missed by her sister, Karen DeBiase, and her brothers Rick and Curtis Wallace and their families.

Brenda's administrative work led her to multiple industries.  She worked at Texas Instruments for several years before switching to the medical field.

Brenda loved adventuring through garage sales and thrift stores.  She would always find interesting items for herself and others.  She was creative at decorating, sewing, and many other crafts.  She always had homemade personal gifts for everyone at Christmas and their birthdays.  Brenda's favorite hobby was reading, she loved Westerns, Romances, Murder Mysteries – whatever crossed her path, she loved to read and was always working on a book or two.

Most notably, Brenda loved her family – especially the children.  She loved to play with the little ones and always encouraged the older ones. She always had Blue Bell ice cream on handto share, (a habit she learned from her mother.)

There will be visitation at Allen Funeral Home in Wylie, Texas on Thursday, September 29 at 11:00.  This will be followed by a short burial service at the IOOF cemetery in Farmersville, Texas.
