Brian Andrew Hunt, 45, of Wylie, TX, passed away on January 17, 2026. He was born in Richmond, Indiana and grew up in Beaumont, TX. A loving husband and father who enjoyed spending time with family, he is survived by his wife of 22 years, Virginia (Ginny) Nelson Hunt; his three children, Maren Hunt, Oscar Hunt, and Alice Hunt; his parents, Angela Wages Hunt and George Hunt of Beaumont, TX; his sister, Nicole Hunt Lovoi and her husband, Josh Lovoi of Tomball, TX; nephew Riley Abshire; nieces Anna and Audrey Lovoi; and many other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents George and Mildred Hunt and Coleman and Yvonne Wages; and his uncle Ben Wages.

Brian enjoyed reading, gaming, and listening to his favorite bands. A graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington, his career in the field of computers has spanned over 20 years. He and his wife Ginny have been married for over twenty-two years and began dating in high school. They share many of the same interests in books and music. Some of his friends include a group who have kept in touch with each other since elementary and middle school. They were even in each other's weddings.

Visitation with the family will be held at the Allen Funeral Home at 508 Masters Avenue in Wylie, TX on Monday, February 2 from 5-7pm. The funeral service will be at St. Anthony Catholic Church at 404 N. Ballard Street in Wylie, TX on Tuesday, February 3 at 11am followed by a reception with the family.
