Carrie Susan Lockmiller, 52, passed away in McKinney, Texas on Wednesday, January 11, 2017.  Carrie was born in Garland, Texas on Wednesday, September 2, 1964 to parents Howard Ross and Billie Jo (Mann) Lockmiller.

Growing up Carrie loved all animals, especially horses.  Carrie attended Community High School where is was active in the FAA.  She showed sheep her first year, but then changed to showing steers.

Carrie attended Tarleton State University for 3 years, then transferred to Texas A&M University at Commerce.  She graduated from TAMU at Commerce with her degree in Agricultural Business. After graduating from college Carrie went to work for Stewart Title in Coppell where she handled commercial accounts.

Carrie was a kind and patient person which a really quick wit. She found pleasure in being out of doors and being with friends.  She was active with several Trail Riding Organizations and recently become active in Ranch Sorting and Team Penning.

Carrie is survived by her parents, Howard and Billie Jo Lockmiller of Nevada and her good friend, Debbie Rose.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 16, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Allen Funeral Home.Funeral services are Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the Allen Funeral Home Chapel.  Dr. A. L. Draper will officiate.
