Carrie Lyn Ridell, 68, passed away at her residence in Wylie on Tuesday, May 3, 2021 after a lengthy illness.  Carrie was born on Thursday, April 9, 1953 in Odessa, Texas. Her parents were the late Virgil Lee and Viola Bell (Bullard) Wright.  After moving to Wylie she worked for Johnston's Children's Clothing manufacturing where she was a Line Lady.

Carrie is survived by her daughter, Sandy Gail Sampson and her husband Mark and son, Kenneth Randall Hicks; sister Linda Wagner and brother, Thomas Wright and numerous grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald Ridell and daughter Beverly Carol Miller.

Visitation will be held at Allen Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, May 6, 2021 from 1:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M.  Carrie's funeral service will begin at 3:00 P.M. in the Allen Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Al Draper officiating.   Carrie will be laid to rest on her family's plot in Kreymer Cemetery.
