Charles L. White, age 90, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2021 at his home in Richardson, Texas with his family at his bedside.   Born April 29, 1930, survived by his wife, Patricia C. (Giardina) White of 65 years;

Daughters Cheri' Shannon and spouse Kyle, Melissa Beeler and spouse Rich, and son Duane White and spouse Kathryn, 6 Grandchildren, Casie, Shaun, Keagan, Brandon, Stephanie and Jeff, 10 great grandchildren,  Jacob, Jaelyn, Aaliyah, Kambrie, Kannon, Annalyn, Caleb, Hayley, Cole and Cami,  and  1 brother, Louis "T-boy" White.  Preceded in death by his parents Wilfred and Chloe White, 1 Brother Wayne and 2 Sisters Malane and Joanne.

Charles "also known as GG Pop and Grandpa " was a wonderful husband, daddy, grandfather, and great-grandfather and he will be missed dearly.  All of his family and extended family are so grateful to have him as part of our lives and can not express how much each of us loved him. He touched each of us deep in our hearts in a special way and we will be forever grateful.

He graduated from St. Joseph's Academy in New Roads, LA.  Then from Louisiana State University with a Masters Degree in Chemistry and Physics and a Semiconductor Degree . Honorably discharged from the Air Force as 2nd Lieutenant, worked for Texas Instruments for 35 years obtaining several patents and published papers in Electrochem Society Journal.

Charles  belonged to the Vocal Majority Barbershop Chorus, sang in several Quartets, was a chorus director, section leader, auditioner, craft teacher, arranger, sound judge and chairman of judges for barbershop singing contests. The chorus has won a total of 12 international gold medals since it was formed in 1972.

Charles enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, singing and making things in his garage.  He spent weekends with his family at the Lake cabin skiing, swimming and fishing.   Later on in life,  he really enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and was so proud to have great-grandkids.

We will miss you dearly!!!!
