Charlyne (Justiss) GREVE, 80, formerly of Lavon, Texas, passed away peacefully at her home Thursday, January 28, 2021 after a courageous battle with dementia.

Charlyne was born June 26, 1940 in Lavon, Texas to Johnie and Mary (Forder) Justiss.  She graduated from Community High School and went on to have a successful career in accounting with several Dallas area printing companies until her retirement in 2011.

It was at Community High School where Charlyne met the love of her life, William Robert "Buddy" Greve who she married on June 25, 1960, and they remained happily married for 60 years.   Anyone who knew Charlyne knew her love of family and friends.

Charlyne is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, William Robert "Buddy" Greve, their children Pamela (Greve) Hill and Robert Kevin and wife, Dee Greve.  Grandchildren Jennifer Hixson, Nicole (Hixson) Lane and husband Stephen, Rachel Greve and Kyle Greve; and two great-grandchildren Hudson Lane and Haddox Lane; and her sisters Virginia Spearman and husband Jerry, Carol Harrison, Janie Daniels and husband Roy and Leta Cornelius and husband Bob and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Johnie and Mary Justiss, her sister Mary Watkins and her grandson Jeremy Hixson.

Visitation will be Monday, February 1, 2021 from 6:00-7:30 at Allen Funeral Home, 508 Masters Ave., Wylie, Texas 75098.  Funeral to be 10:00am at Northplace Church, 2800 Pleasant Valley, Sasche, Texas 75048.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your favorite charity.
