Cher Lynn Simmerman, 59, of McKinney TX has passed away at Faith Presbyterian Hospice Center of small cell lung cancer on October 30th, 2025, with her family by her side.

She was born in Monticello, Indiana in 1966 to Jackie and Jeannie Snider. She loved to go fishing and mushroom hunting with her family.

Cher attended school at Twin Lakes High School where she enjoyed playing softball and cheerleading. She then attended Ivy Tech College where she was studying to be a medical assistant.

Cher was proceeded in death by her parents Jackie and Jeannie; She is survived by her husband Bryan, her children: Christopher, Kristen, Amanda, Patrick, Angel, and Dylan. She is also survived by her 17 grandchildren + one on the way, 1 great grandchild + one on the way, and her siblings Joyce, Jeff, Pat, and Louie.

She loved her family fiercely and throughout this cancer battle, she did not let it dim her spirit. She fought hard until the very end, and she will be greatly missed by us all.
