David "old man, wrinkle, Davita, Papaw" Lynn Rice, went to be with the Lord and his wife Joyce, on October 22, 2023.

David was born in Frederick, Oklahoma on November 24, 1947 to Mary and Ed Rice. He joined the Air Force in 1967 and got out in 1965. In 1977 he met his beloved Joyce, at Chapmans Restaurant. He worked 3 jobs to buy her a ring, and they married on December 17, 1980. Between the 2 of them they had 6 kids.

David is survived by his brothers, Kevin (Debbie), Thomas (Marsha); his children Marcel Gomez (John), Michael Graves, Martin Graves (Melanie), Crystal Rice, David Jr., and preceded by his brother Larry, sisters Juanda & Jerry, and daughter Christina. He leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 9 nieces & nephews, and 3 great grand nieces & nephews.

David will be sorely missed by everyone he knew. He never met a stranger, and if you had a conversation for 10 minutes, you became family. Thank you everyone who filled his life with so much joy. We appreciate you.
