Don Wayne Ward born July 18, 1939 passed on to be with Jesus March 3, 2022.  A life-time resident of Wylie, Texas, he is survived by his wife Sandy Ward, son Gary Ward, daughters Laurie Ward Jenkins, Debbie Keen, Angie Dickert, Stephanie Pennington and his sister Doris Smith and her family.  He was blessed with many grandchildren and great-gran's too.  God, family and community were most important to Don.  He was a great friend to many and his family would like to let his friends know that Don loved them and will greet them at the pearly gates with a warm smile, a hearty handshake, and maybe even a story or two.
