Donald Omer Flaharity, 69, 0f Wylie, Texas passed away at his residence on Sunday, March 4, 2018.  He was born on June 26, 1948 in Pampa, Texas to the late Maynard and Carmel (Flynn) Flaharity. Donald served in Vietnam as a United States Marine.  He had worked for MCI Telecommunicans as a Telecommunications Engineer.

Donald was survived by his wife of 43 years, Cheryl Lynn Flaharity of Wylie; daughter, Alicia Ammi Hensley and her husband, David Paul Hensley of Caddo Mills; sister, Wilma Figueroa; brothers, Maynard Flaharity, Jr. and Jim Flaharity and 3 loving grandchildren, Cora Hensley, Hannah Hensley and Isabelle Hensley.

A visitation for Donald will be held 1 hour prior to the 3:00 P.M. Funeral Service at the Allen Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, March 7, 2018.  Rev. Charlie Nassar officiating.  Interment will follow at the Wylie Cemetery.
