Donald Henderson, Sr. passed away in Murphy, Texas on January 6, 2018 at the age of 85.  Don was born in Rock Falls, Illinois on June 5, 1932.  His parents were the late William Andrew and Hazel (Schonz) Henderson. Don married Zola Jean Gary on November 30, 1948 in Rock Falls, Illinois.  Donald was in home construction and home remodeling prior to his retirement and illness.

Don is survived by his children: Mindy Henderson (Gary Brannick) of Plano, TX, Shelly Brooks (Byron Brooks) of Frisco, TX, Gary Henderson (Judy Henderson) of Princeton, TX, Donald Henderson, Jr. (Vicky Henderson), and Gayla Kolb (Doug Kolb) of Tampico, IL.  He was preceded in death by parents, William and Hazel Henderson, wife, Zola Henderson, son, Andrew Henderson and his four siblings, William Henderson, Jr., Dale Henderson, Bernice Hubbart and Sally Branch.

A memorial service for Don will be on Saturday, January 13, 2017 at 2:30 P.M. at the Allen Funeral Home Chapel.  Dr. A. L. Draper will officiate.
