Drummona Joy Anderson, affectionately known as Dee passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 in Dallas, Texas. She was 46 years old.  Dee was born in Pensacola, Florida on March 12, 1974. to parents Drummond and Alta Braden.  Dee went to nursing school where she earned her Bachelor of Nursing. Dee had been a nurse for many years.  She was a caregiver to her family, her friends and her patients.

Leaving behind are her children, Emily Elise Anderson and Andrew James Anderson; her children's father, James Anderson, her mother, Alta Houston; brothers, Tommy Braden and Rodney Braden.  She will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews and a host of gracious friends.  Dee was preceded in death by her father, Drummond Braden and a sister, Susan Braden.

Dee's visitation is on Saturday, August 22, 2020 from 9:30 P.M. – 11:00 A.M. at the Allen Funeral Home Chapel.  A funeral service will also be at Allen Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 A.M. following the visitation.   Officiating the service will be Dr. A. L. Draper.  Dee will be laid to rest at the Wylie Cemetery following her service.
