Leo Marlow, age 79 of Wylie, Texas passed away on January 5, 2020. He was born in Garland, Texas on July 3, 1940.

He graduated from Wylie High School as Salutatorian in 1958. After graduation, he was hired at Temco, Greenville in January 1959 and remained with the company through many name changes until he retired at L3 Harris on December 31, 2019. During his 60 year employment, he received many awards and promotions.

He married his high school sweetheart, Virginia Frye on May 29, 1959. They raised three daughters, Deborah, Rhonda and Laura. In his spare time, Leo enjoyed crappie fishing and setting catfish lines at Lake Lavon. He was also known by family and friends as the person who could fix anything.

Leo is survived by wife of 60 years, Virginia; 3 daughters, Deborah Thomas, Rhonda Gibson and Laura Marlow-Hawkins; grandchildren Joshua Thomas and spouse Jamie Thomas, Matthew Buchanan and spouse Brittany Buchanan and Kayden Hawkins; great grandchildren Carter and Karlee Thomas, Bailey and Sophia Gibbs; sister Patsy Thompson and spouse Gene Thompson and many other family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Theo and Ruby Marlow.

The celebration of his life service will be in Draper Chapel at First Baptist Church, Wylie on Saturday, January 11 ^th . Visitation is at 9:30 am with the service at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas at the Garden of Gethsemane.
