EMILY ELAINE HAMPTON (81)

July 2, 1944 - April 6, 2026

Elaine was beautiful, witty, funny, big-hearted and compassionate to people and animals down on their luck. She spent the majority of her time and money on charities and helping others. A selfless and amazing human.

Elaine and Larry ran various "honky-tonks" in the area including the Cotton Patch in Sachse, Ranch House in Wylie and Southern Junction in Rockwall. LOTS of stories there!

She and Gary had two children early in life and later, she cared for her grandson Rock, until she couldn't. They were a team!

She is survived by her children Debra Lynn Knezek and Steven Donald Knezek, grandson Rock Franklin Knezek and ex-husband Gary Don Knezek.

Nieces and nephews, Donna Lynch, Clanton Lynch, Kim Eggleston, David Lynch and Holly Lynch. Sister-in-law Janie Hampton Dillard.

Preceded in death by her husband George "Larry" Hampton, stepson Larry "Wayne" Hampton, sister Patricia Fern Lynch and parents Master Sergeant George Franklin Camp and Ruby Lorraine Camp.

She will be greatly missed and was LOVED BEYOND MEASURE.
