Everett Sidney Welk, 82, of Nevada, Texas passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2019 in Rowlett, Texas. Everett was born in Dallas, Texas on December 24, 1936.  His parents are the late Olen and Hazel Christine Welk. He grew up in Big Sandy, Texas and graduated from Big Sandy High School, the Class of 1954. Everett moved to Wylie and lived there for many years.  He had made his living as a truck driver. Everett was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving Everett are his daughters, Shirley Lozano and husband Ish of Josephine, Texas; Barbara Rowell and husband Ronnie of Royse City,Texas; sister, Jean Heath of Tyler, Texas; his 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the funeral service, from 10:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. in the Allen Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, September 21, 2019.  The funeral will begin at 11:00 A.M. , September 21, 2019 also in the Allen Funeral Home Chapel.  Chaplain Clark will officiate.  Everett will be laid to rest at the Nevada Cemetery.
