Felix G Zapata December 11, 1927 – September 30, 2022

On September 30, 2022, Felix G Zapata went to be with our Lord.  He was born in La Esperanza to Felix Sr and Braulia G Zapata.  Felix was a hardworking man, he worked for most of his life.  He worked for Union Carbine and Marathon LeTourneau at the Port of Brownsville, he retired from Marathon after about 16 years. He also worked for Ozone Water as a delivery man before completely retiring he worked as a Driver for Villa Del Sol Apartments. He enjoyed his favorite past time dancing and watching the Dallas Cowboys play. He got to meet many of the Cowboys' players and he even got to demonstrate his moves with Cowboy Tony Dorsett.

Felix is proceeded in death by his wife of 69 years, Reynalda Lugo Zapata, his son Felix Pochie Zapata III, his parents Felix Sr and Braulia Zapata, his niece Matilde Ninfa Guillen ; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Left to Cherish his memory includes:

Felix's daughter Rosalinda Z Garza (Anastacio) of Flower Mound, TX, along with 4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren

His son David Zapata (Maria C) of Los Fresnos, TX, along with 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

His son Oscar Ramos Zapata (Beatrice A Sanchez) of Lewisville, TX, along with 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and Chico

His grandchildren Brenda Z Gazaway (John) along with 2 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren

Felix Zapata IV (Kim Orozco) with 4 grandchildren

His sister-in-law Benita Morales

There are many nieces, nephews, and cousins left to Cherish his memory.
