Frances Oleta Simmons, 84, life long resident of Wylie passed away on Monday, October 14, 2019 in Wylie.  Frances was born to Junius Bunyan Burns and Claytie Mary (McCullough) Burns on Friday January 18, 1935. Frances was raised in Wylie and attended school in Wylie.  Frances helped others by being a nursing assistant in the local nursing home.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church - Wylie.

Frances is survived by her son David Lynn Andrews and his wife, Cheryl of Wylie; her three grandchildren Shelley Russell, Staci Young and Jamie Wiser and her 4 great grandchildren; Gracie Vaughn, Trace Russell, Harper Young and Bryson Young.  Frances was preceded in death by her parents, husband Weldon C. Simmons, son Billy Wayne Taylor and stepson Weldon "Bubba" Simmons.

Visitation will be on Friday, October 18, 2019 from 9:30 - 10:30 A.M. at Allen Funeral Home.  Her funeral service is in the Allen Funeral Home Chapel, Friday, October 18, 2019 beginning at 10:30 A.M. with Dr. A. L. Draper officiating.  Burial will follow at the Wylie Cemetery.
