Gladys Neta Foster, 103, of Wylie, Texas went home to be with the Lord on Saturday December 7, 2019 in Wylie surrounded by her children. Gladys was born on November 4, 1916 in the Clear Lake Community, Texas to her late parents Walter Pearson Poor and Lizzie Olive Hillis Poor.  Gladys married Carl Casey Foster on December 9, 1934 in Liberty Grove, Texas. She was a member of the Cottonwood Church of Christ.

Gladys is survived by her daughter Wilma Turner of Wylie and son Rick Foster and wife Sharon of Wylie; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and son-in-law George Turner.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 from 6:00 P.M. at Allen Funeral Home.  Her funeral will be on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at the Cottonwood Church of Christ with Minister Eric Hogue officiating.  Gladys will be laid to rest at Restland Memorial Park.

The family wishes to thank Anchor of Hope Hospice, the staff from Garnet Hill and all those that stopped to brighten her day.  The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made in Gladys' memory to the Cottonwood Church of Christ, the Cottonwood Cemetery or Southwest Transplant Alliance for ongoing liver transplant.
