Gloria Michelle (Murphy) Kleinmeier passed away peacefully in her home,
October 17th, 2025 holding her husband's hand.  Gloria is survived by her
husband, George and her children, Amanda, Tim, Gloria, Holly, Kylie, & her
wonderful dog Gunner.
Gloria was born April 10th, 1969 to George B. Murphy and Gloria L. (Tully)
Murphy in Kalamazoo, MI.  Gloria was the youngest of eight children. She is
survived by, Therese (Douglas) Van Dyke, Terry (Tim) Hageman, John (Paige)
Murphy, Patrick J. Murphy, Tammy Murphy Burgwin, Toni (Jace) Kleinmeier,
and Micheal (Angie) Murphy.
Gloria grew up on her family farm in Kalamazoo, MI. Until they moved to
Marshall, MI where she started high school. Gloria's family ended up moving
to Texas and Gloria went to MacArthur High School in Irving. Gloria went back
to Marshall for her senior year to finish high school.  After high school Gloria
went to Cosmetology School back in TX, eventually working with her sister
Toni & sister-in-law Angie at a salon.
One day Gloria walked into The Icy Blue where she met her soulmate George.
George made sure to make the largest mint chocolate chip ice cream cone so
that he could talk to Gloria for hours. George didn't get Gloria's phone number
that day so he took the phone book and called every salon in Garland till
someone knew Gloria. After that day they were
inseparable.
Gloria and George married March 2nd, 1996 in TX. With George came Gloria's
bonus children, Matthew, Amanda, John Paul, & Tim. She had a very strong
love for them.  Gloria went on to have three more children, Gloria, Holly, &
Kylie. Her girls were her everything. Gloria / G.G. was blessed with three
grandchildren, Collin Lamaray, Skylar, & Brody Kleinmeier.
Gloria and George moved to Round Top, NY (1999) in the Catskills where they
lived for 26 wonderful years.  In 2020 they decided to move back to TX to be
near family once again.
Gloria enjoyed working in the service industry. She loved being around people.
She had a way of connecting with anyone.  Gloria had a work ethic like no
other. Her drive to complete a task was unmatched but she always managed
to go above and beyond. Gloria went on to get her Real Estate License and
worked side by side with her husband.
Gloria enjoyed being a mother most.  She always knew how to impact others
lives. She took time to listen and knew just what to say. Her bravery,
confidence, determination, and, compassion will never be forgotten. She left
her imprint on everyone's life.  She also loved spending time with her siblings
and her dearest friend Toni. Gloria and Toni were two-peas-in-a-pod. They
called each other at least three times a day even when they saw one another
that day.
Gloria was an amazing cook.  She loved her cooking shows as well.  Not as
much as Judge Judy!  She loved arts and crafts.  She loved making crosses,
wreaths, candles, and, helping with various projects. Gloria loved being home
with her husband, she enjoyed a peaceful morning with him drinking their
coffees and talking.
She lived her life with the biggest smile even with the hardest battles.  Thank
you all for being there during the most difficult part of her journey.
Gloria was welcomed into Heaven by her parents, George & Gloria, parents-in
law, Nancy & George, brother-in-laws, James & Daniel, and her step-children
