Grant Edward Pope age 52, was born on November 27, 1964 in San Antonio, TX and passed away on February 19, 2017 in Wylie, TX.  He is survived by his wife, Deborah Diana (Whisenhunt) Pope; Son, Kevin Pope and his wife Bethany; 2 Grandchildren, Selah Pope and Abby Pope; Sister, Kelly Worley.

Pastor, mentor and friend to all who knew him. He never met a stranger. Grant lived his life with his hands wide open and his arms outstretched to help everyone in need. Grant traveled far and wide doing mission work, volunteering and teaching anyone in need.

Grant was born with an uncanny desire to help people that kicked into overdrive when he came to know Jesus Christ as his personal Savior in 2000. In 2007 he left the corporate world for full time ministry and graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary - Ft. Worth in 2010. Grant was a TRUE Christ follower and shining example for all.
