Guadalupe V Lopez age 96, passed away at his home in St. Paul, Texas. Guadalupe was born to Jose Valadez and Romana Lopez in Mexico on December 12, 1925.

He migrated from southern Mexico to the USA at the age of 17. Married in 1955 to the love of his life, Maria Del Refujio Martinez, until she passed away in 2005. Guadalupe obtained his residency in 1957 and settled in Midland, Texas. He diligently worked for H.G. Counts Co. to give his family a better start in life. With only a 6th grade education he learned to drive and operate many types of machinery & saved enough money to start his own trucking business, which he retired from. He studied the English language continuously & received his citizenship later in life. Upon retirement he moved to Saint Paul, Texas and built a home to enjoy his golden years. His favorite advice was "Commende te a Dios" or "Trust in the Lord".

He is survived by his children, daughter Mary Pitt & husband David Pitt of Rowlett, TX, daughter, Gloria Santana & husband Justino Santana of Midland, TX, daughter Lupita Espinosa of St. Paul Texas, and son Robert Valadez of Midland Texas.

He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

We celebrate the continuation of our beloved earthly father's life from this world into the spiritual world. Our hearts hold his loving wisdom forever.
