Helen Bernice Rogers passed away at her home in Wylie on Saturday, December 7, 2019.  She was born on Wednesday, August 1, 1934 in Paris, Texas.  Her parents are the late Bruce A. and Lillian Bernice (Blankenship) Brooks. Helen had worked at Johnston Incorporated, the United States Post Office and the Wylie Independent School District.

She is survived by her children; Grover Don Henry, Charlotte Shepard, Tenna Tompkins and Danny Ray Henry and 3 step children, Johnnie Gavin, Mickie Vaughan and Jerry Rogers; a sister, Frances Prater; 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Leland Rogers, numerous brothers and 2 sisters and her great granddaughter, Danica Rivers.

A visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, December 10, 2019 from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. in the Allen Funeral Chapel. Her funeral will follow at 2:00 also in the Allen Funeral Home with Chaplain Randolph Chappell officiating.  Burial will follow at Kreymer Cemetery.
