Hilda Maria Miller, 89, of Wylie, Texas passed away at her home on Tuesday, June 16, 2020.  Hilda was born on Friday, September 12, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois.  Her parents are the late Alexander and Theresa (Gruber) Chiakas. Hilda married Paul E. Miller in Evanston, Illinois on August 4, 1956. Hilda had been a realtor before retiring. You would often see Hilda walking her dog in the neighborhood. She had been a member of the Wylie United Methodist Church.

Surviving Hilda is her husband of 65 years, Paul E. Miller of Wylie, Texas; here three daughters, Vicki, Solaja of Dallas, Texas, Valerie Studer of McKinney, Texas and Vanessa Castagnoli of Roseville, California.  She  leaves behind, her three grandsons; Steven Paul Solaja and wife Kelsey, Cody Daniel Solaja and wife Taylor, and Michael A. Studer and a host of family and friends.

Hilda will be laid to rest with a graveside service at the Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery on Friday, June 19, 2020 at 10:00 A.M.  Pastor Kathryn Strempke will officiate at the committal service.
