Horst Gerhard Kirsch, age 86, passed away on February 2, 2022, in Wylie, Texas. Mr. Kirsch was born on February 9, 1935 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, to Margarethe and Gerhard Kirsch. He is survived by his wife Marjorie, son Christopher of Shalimar, Florida, daughter Erika (Assem Peter) of Montreal, Canada, and sister Lucie Sauerteig of Dietzenbach, Germany.

Mr. Kirsch immigrated to the United States from Germany in 1956 and settled in Texas. He served four years in the United States Air Force from 1956 to 1960 and became a United States citizen in 1959. Upon his honorable discharge from military service, he started a career as Field Service Engineer with (then) Collins Radio Company in Dallas, Texas. He retired from Rockwell-Collins in 1994 after 34 years of service.
