Jack D. Eckiss, 88, of Wylie passed away at his residence on Friday, July 26, 2019.  Jack was born in Mount Carmel, Illinois on Thursday, April 16, 1931.  His parents were the late Harlen A. Eckiss and Fannie Mae (Brewer) Eckiss.  Jack served his country in the United States Air Force and served during the Korean War.  Jack married Patricia Joan Cokerham on September 22, 1979.  Jack retired from E-Systems where he was an engineer.  He attended the Peace Lutheran Church.

Jack is survived by his wife of 39 years, Patricia Eckiss; children, Harlen Eckiss, Eddie Plemons, Paul L. Oliver Jr., Darlene Watts and Diana Cox; brother, Ray Eckiss, his 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Dean Eckiss and his sister, Eleanor Colbert.

A Memorial Service will be held in the Allen Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, August 5, 2019 at 2:00 P.M with Pastor Jack Schneider officiating.
