Jackie Murlene "Memaw" Duncan passed away peacefully on the evening of March 31, 2020, in St. Cloud, FL. The world was blessed with her sweet nature and contagious laugh for 98 years.

The youngest of four girls, Jackie was born July 18, 1921, in Eustace, Texas, to Edward Wade Owen and Lenie McLauchlin. Growing up in a rural home, Jackie always said she was born in July and was out in the fields picking cotton by September.

She was predeceased by her husband of 6 years, Lonnie L. Reid, her husband of 55 years, William C. Duncan Jr.; her sisters Abbie Mewbourn, Stella Fletcher, and Alma Wharton; and her oldest son, Jackie Lynn Reid. She was survived by her sons Jimmy Wayne Duncan, Gary Lee Duncan, and William Owen Duncan. She was loved by her grandchildren Renee Stormer, Jimmy Wayne Duncan Jr., Robin Carter, Scotty Reid, Retha Powers, Gary Lee Duncan Jr., Billy Jack Duncan, Jason Duncan, Lauren Bannon, as well as her numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Jackie will be greatly missed by all the family and friends who had the pleasure of being a part of her life. She will always be remembered as a strong woman who, even during the toughest times, always had a smile and a laugh to share.
