James Alvarado Angelo Ledesma – 76 years old

Born: March 12, 1944 – Waterloo, IA        Died: March 06, 2021 – Wylie, TX

James Ledesma passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, March 06, 2021. He was preceded in death by his second wife, Sharon M. Ledesma. His parents, Eloisa Bermuez, Antonacio Ledesma, Esperanza Ledesma. His two brothers, Javier and Tony Ledesma. He is survived by his seven children, Cindy Weekly and her husband Larry of Waterloo, IA, Jeff Ledesma and his wife Felicia of Wylie, TX, Desiree Ledesma of Las Vegas, NV, Debbie Aiken and her husband Richard of Washington DC, Ray Vaughn and his wife June of Dysart, IA, Nicole Bessinger and her husband Deren of Corinth, TX, Brent Vaughn and his wife Jean of Gainesville, TX. Along with his 28 grand children and 25 great grandchildren, his first wife Debra Hootman and his 5 brothers, Charlie, Johnny, Vince, Pete and Lupe Ledesma

He earned his pilot's license and flew for a jump club for many years in Waterloo, IA. He was an amazing artist and worked for Chamberlin Manufacturing in Waterloo, IA as a graphic draft designer. He eventually moved to Dallas, TX area where he drove for DART transport for several years until his retirement. He enjoyed traveling to see his family, projects at home and helping his grandchildren. He enjoyed war movies and anything to do with history or building things. He loved to work out, give directions and help anyone in need.  His overall passion was studying astrology and loved looking at the stars.

His family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for all of the love, support and condolences during this difficult time.
