James Stephen Martin

James Stephen Martin, 82, passed away Monday, February 27 ^th , 2023.  Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, he was the son of James and Nadine Martin and the eldest of four children.

He was a loving father of three, Brishon Marie, Courtney Nadine and Ryan Miles.  He has three grandchildren, Judah Miles (7 years old and diehard 'gearhead' like Granddad), Elleanor Nadine (who gave him her 'big unicorn' to keep him company, and his namesake, James Stephen (16 months), showing promise of getting into every bit as much mischief as his grandfather did.

Following the beat of his own drum, whether it was food – sardine muffins, anyone? How about a tortilla napkin? He was a kind, generous man who had a passion for classic cars and spent many an hour working on a 1950 Mercury (that never seemed to change much!).

Service will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023 11:00 A.M.  at the Allen Funeral Home. Internment will follow at the Wylie Cemetery.

He will be missed.
