Jamie Therese Iacovazzi, 42, of St. Paul, Texas, entered into eternal life on December 29, 2023, after a long battle with advanced liver disease. Jamie could light up a room upon entering it. She was loving, caring and selfless, and never stopped helping other people. She was always a positive person and believed that she could accomplish anything to which she put her mind. Two phrases were echoed in her everyday life: "Persistence beats resistance," and "It's a do day, not a try day." She lived these mantras to the very end.

Jamie was so into her music and playing her guitar, especially for her little girl. She loved to cook, paint, work in her garden and write in her journal. Jamie was a dedicated and loving daughter, sister and mother. And, if you had the pleasure of knowing her, you know it was a blessing and privilege to have her as part of your life.

Jamie was born on September 25, 1981, in Phoenix, Arizona, to Donalyn (Doni) Schrauben and Richard Steward. When her parents divorced, her mom moved the family to the San Francisco area where she completed her education and met so many very close friends. Brent Jackson became her stepfather when she was in Junior High, and she inherited two step-brothers, Brandon and Nathan, whom she loved dearly.

Jamie graduated from Carlmont High School in 2000 and went on to attend San Francisco State University, where she graduated in 2005 with a Business Degree. She had a successful career as a digital marketing sales consultant and was known for her persistence, tenacity and strong work ethic. She lived and worked in California, before moving to the Dallas, Texas area with her family in 2015.

On May 26, 2018, Jamie married Peter (Pete) Iacovazzi in St. Paul, Texas, with whom she later had her beautiful daughter, Zoey Anne, on February 16, 2020, and they enjoyed their time as a family. She is survived by her husband and daughter; mother Doni Jackson, stepfather Brent Jackson of Wylie, TX; sibling Nicole (Sam) Myers of Round Rock, TX and step-siblings Brandon Jackson of San Francisco, CA and Nathan Jackson of Wylie, TX. Jamie was preceded in death by her father Richard Steward and her brother Louis Steward.

A visitation will be held Saturday, January 6th, 2024 from 9:00-11:00 AM, followed by a service at 11:00 AM, at Allen Funeral Home, located at 508 Masters Ave in W
