Jane Stotsenburg Tilton, 77, returned home to her Heavenly Father on March 28, 2021, after a valiant battle with brain cancer.  A mother to ten children, thirty-one grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren with two more on the way, Jane's family was her world.  Jane loved the arts, was an accomplished author, had an eye for thrift store gems, restored antique furniture, and loved horses, including showing them across the Western United States and working with the disabled at Equest.  In her spare time, Jane supervised construction of numerous homes for Habitat for Humanity, volunteered at Amazing Grace Food Pantry, served as an adult missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, did genealogy, family history and temple work, and helped fellow "lost souls" navigate life.

Jane was born in Louisville, Kentucky, and grew up in Indiana and Arizona.  In her adult life Jane called Renton, Washington; Genola, Utah; Highland, Utah; Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; Hereford, Arizona, and Wylie, Texas, home.

Jane is survived by her husband of 55 years, Joseph Lynn Tilton of Wylie Texas, her children Jim (Maria) of Willow, Alaska; Evan (Kimberli), of Garland, Texas; Joel (Tiffany) of Omaha, Nebraska; Jessica Rogers (Jaren) of Shawnee, Oklahoma; Joshua (Megan) of Little Elm, Texas; Nathan (Christy) of Kunsan, AB, South Korea; John (Jessica) of Little Elm, Texas;and Jacob of Wylie, Texas.  She is also survived by her sister Nan Freeman of Sierra Vista, Arizona, and her brother Danny Drake of Brookville, Florida.Jane is proceeded in death by her children Mary Bunting and Lyle Tilton,and her brother John Reichling.  In her life, she anticipated a joyous reunion with them and many others.

The family appreciates the healthcare professionals that provided first class care to our mother.  We are especially grateful for the team at Custom Care Home Health & Hospice who served her with dignity and grace.
