Jeanita R. Ballew 88, of Wylie, Texas passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023 in Richardson, Texas.  She was born in Lavon, Texas on December 15, 1934.  Her parents were the late Robert L. Jones and Ella Mae Gray Jones.  She married the late Bobby Ray Ballew and they lived in Wylie and raised their 4 children.  Jeanita was a member of the Lavon Baptist Church.

Surviving Jeanita is her children, Susan Ballew and Husband Don, Bobby Keith Ballew, Kenneth Ballew and Wife Debbie; 11 grandchildren; numerous great; 3 great great grandchildren.

Jeanita was preceded in death by her parents; Robert L. Jones and Ella Mae Jones; husband, Bobby Ray Ballew; son, Rickie Ballew; brothers, brothers, Bill Jones, Wallace Jones; sisters, Beatrice Ballew, Doris Buckley, Helen McGuire, Evelyn Harrison, Mamie Redd

The family will have a visitation on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at the Allen Funeral Home Chapel from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M.  The funeral service will commence at 11:00 A.M with Dr. A. L. Draper officiating.  Interment will follow at the Thompson Cemetery in Nevada.
