JERRY LYNN HENSLEY

Jerry Lynn Hensley of Lavon, Texas left this life to be with his Lord on August 10, 2021. He was born December 10, 1945, at Wylie, Texas to Ottis and Maybelle (Parker) Hensley. On July 21, 2006, Jerry was united in marriage to Carolyn S. Pelton. After serving in the U.S Marine Corps, Jerry returned to Wylie, Texas and began working for Deckard Meat until the late 1970's when he opened Hensley Tractor which was in business for the last 40 years.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Terry and Alton "Wayne". He is survived by his wife Carolyn, and nephews Wayne Hensley (Danielle) of Wylie, Eric Monaghen (Tara) of Arkansas and nieces Cassandra Christopher (Mark) of Lavon and Amanda Williams (Daniel) of Lavon, 4 grandchildren and many great-nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on August 14, 2021, at 10:00am at Allen Funeral Home, 508 Masters Ave, Wylie, Texas. An open viewing will occur starting at 9:00am prior to the service and a graveside burial memorial immediately following.
