Jerry Glyn Holt age 72, passed away on August 24, 2017 in his home in Rowlett, Texas. Jerry was born to Edward Glyn Holt and Edna C. Toon Holt on November 11, 1944 in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Jerry served in the United States Army after High School.  He later went to work for Texas Instruments and was an Engineer for them when he retired.

Jerry is survived by his children, Stephen Edward Holt and wife Heather of Rowlett, TX, Robert Glyn Holt and wife Cho of Castro Valley, CA, Christopher Glyn Holt and wife Jennifer of Sulphur Springs, TX and Vanessa Michelle Bridges Weger of Colbert, OK. Also surviving Jerry are his 9 grandchildren. and numerous other family members and friends. Jerry was an avid reader and collector of books. He was also a big fan of Dallas Cowboy and Texas Longhorn football. Services will be officiated by Rev. Brad Patterson of Lavon Baptist Church. The memorial services are under the direction of Allen Funeral Home.
