JoAnn Barbara Housewright, 89, of Wylie passed away on Sunday November 17, 2019 in Wylie, Texas. JoAnn was born on Monday, March 24, 1930 in McKinney, Texas to parents, Clifford Clinton Sanders and Allah Virgie (Talbot) Sanders. JoAnn met Kenneth E. Housewright and they married on June 28, 1947 in Wylie. She had worked for Johnston Incorporated in the shipping department. JoAnn was a member of the First Baptist Church Sachse.

Surviving JoAnn is her daughter and son-in-law, Belinda and Mac Crawford of Wylie; 2 grandsons, Kenneth Crawford and wife Kristi of Forney, Phillip Crawford of Sachse; 4 great grandchildren; Tate Crawford, Lani Crawford, Kaden Crawford and Claire Crawford; sisters, Nancy Dickerson and Dianne Morris and husband Norman; sister-in-law, Evelyn Sanders; and many nieces and nephews.  JoAnn was preceded in death by parents, husband Kenneth E. Housewright, brother L.T. Sanders and sister Peggy McKibben.

A visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church of Sachse on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. The funeral will also be held at the First Baptist Church of Sachse beginning at 11:00 A.M. with Brother Dickson Rial officiating.  Interment will be at the Wylie Cemetery.
